Giving face.

On Thursday night my sister invited me to go out with her to a lounge, and being the woman I am, essentially I had nothing in my closet to wear! So In true form I always start out by giving my face a sweet beat first in hopes that everything else will later pull together.

Unexpected Gem.

I absolutely adore finding new products that work best for my skin. Every season I like to switch my routine up a bit to be accommodating of the new weather conditions. What worked for me in the Winter is totally different than Spring.

This past season in Virginia was the coldest, and did a number on my skin overall. I had to really work hard to keep myself moisturized and glowing.

Moving on, I've been looking for a new exfoliating scrub that will peel back the layers of Winter, without stripping me of the essentials. I planned on going shopping this weekend, but lo and behold, a gem was literally right under my nose. I noticed while at my sister's house that she had a bottle of Palmer's Exfoliating Facial Scrub on her vanity.

I can't front and say that my eyes didn't twinkle and glisten. I quickly checked the product out to see if it was something that could work for me. The facial cream promised to do a few important things that are absolutely beneficial.

3 sexy makeup trends to try this Spring.

If you're more inclined to live life looking at the glass half full, than spending it complaining about the small things, then I'm sure we can agree that Spring is more than just a pollen filled, rainy season. It's actually a time to kick Winter out of the door, and welcome in the brightness of new, and warmer days to come. Today I've complied a list of the top 3 must-try beauty trends to try for Spring.

1. WHITE EYELINER.

Many makeup artists have a secret trick of using white eyeliner to create the illusion of wider eyes on clients. It also provides a very awake look to brighten up any day. But, white liner has also been seen on just about every catwalk across the world lately, which means it's making a mean comeback. And in true form, I'm definitely here for it. It's best used on the inner corners, or on the waterline to achieve the coolest results without looking ghostly.

Blush into Spring!

'Tis the season to rock PINK.

If you're ever in doubt about what to wear, just throw on a dash of pink. It's a beautiful shade that lightens moods, is forever feminine, and always on trend. With Spring in full swing, there's no better time than now to indulge in the most girliest color known to mankind. And if you don't believe me, just ask Elle Woods. Ok, maybe that was a bit of an exaggerated example. (No one wants to look like a 10 year old playing dress up). However, for all my ladies who are looking to spice up their wardrobe, and push the black to the back for a few, just read on for more details on ways to incorporate a little pink in your wardrobe.

Of course, everyone's favorite fly girl turned fashionista, Jennifer Lopez is the perfect person to lead by example.

Never go to bed painted.

Have you ever want out with your girls, had more than a few Martini's, and when you get home the idea of taking off your makeup sounds absurd, because the only thing you want to to is just hop in the bed?

We've all felt that way, but it's definitely one of the top party fouls out there. And I know your mom has warned you about the effects of sleeping in your makeup overnight. Truth is, if you're able to slather the product on, never be too tired to remove it. Your skin will thank you in the years to come. Plus, it's just a part of having good hygiene. And no man wants NC43 smeared on his 700 thread count sheets.
