The Coffee Break was created to give us a chance to take a more intimate approach when putting the spotlight on that special blog guest each week. And just like friends, we'll do it over a cup of Joe.

This week's shine:

I'm inspired by the inspired. There is nothing more intriguing to me than a talented, motivated individual. I'd like to believe that I have a great eye for all things awesome. That would explain why the very first time I came across Megan I was in awe of her beauty. Being able to naturally stand out in this day and age is a true gift. Sit back, relax and read more about this model on the rise.

1. How long have you been in the modeling industry?
I have been in the modeling industry for 5 years.

2. What inspired you to get into the business?
Mainly from a very young age my family would always tell me how beautiful I was and how I should model. I used to be really insecure and didn't see what others saw and then finally I participated in runway in high school and when I graduated I reached out and did a lot of networking with photographers.

3.What has been the most challenging part of breaking into such a competitive industry?
The most challenging part has to be branding yourself. Being able to allow others to see what you want them to see in you as an individual. The industry is full of photographers and businesses that want a specific look. A lot of times they will want a model who will be more eye candy than high fashion. I have had a few opportunities through that side of the industry but I had to brand myself and let it be known I wasn't the "video vixen" type of girl and that I belonged in the high fashion area, where models hold their head high in vogue and in the windows of high fashion boutiques.

4.In a society that's so vanity driven, and being a model which is based off looks how do you maintain a humble balance?
I maintain a humble balance through reaching out to others and helping young models in any way that I can. I know at one point in my life I didn't have any one to help me and still sometimes I don't but I don't think it should be that difficult to get help in becoming apart of this industry. Some say modeling isn't for everyone but I believe it is, you just have to gravitate or network with the photographers who want your specific look.

5.What is your ultimate goal to reach in the field?
My ultimate goal would be to have a big chance in a well known magazine, even if I'm just promoting the clothing brand GUESS, I really think that would be my big break and i know i would take off from there on. And I would love to continue to help others excel in the modeling industry eventually.

Beauty Portion

1. What are your top 5 must have beauty products?
Ponds moisturizing face wash , definitely lashes ! , maybelline concealer , gold bronzer for the bridge of my nose by MAC, and Victoria's Secret deep brown bronzer to define my my cheek bones.
-Skin care regimen?
The Ponds moisturizing face wash is one of my best yet. It cleans your face as well as removes all makeup , leaving your face soft and glowing. You can find it at Walmart !

-5 minutes to get dressed, what is your go to ensemble?
In 5 minutes . A big tee or baseball jersey , old fashioned high rise shorts, button up flannel tied around my waist. And doc Martin boots. Maybe even a quick head scarf for those bad hair days.

- How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style would be vintage, classy and innocent with a sexy twist to it. For example i love a good pair of slacks cuffed at the bottom closed toe heels and a vneck floral tank. And a nice boy hair cut. Almost boyish, classy then sexy but still innocent.
